介紹華山的英語作文

A seven day long holiday has flown away. Mourning my happy hours during the vacation, I've been looking forward to winter holidays. People around me seemed to have enjoyed the vacation, too. Then, is it fair that people have the same amount of holidays regardless of their occupations? Nevertheless, divergent views emerge on the matter in question. Some people are of the opinion that laborers should have the same length of holiday. They hold the view that people are born equal and should be treated equally. The same amount of leisure time may eliminate the unfairness among people who might be upset psychologically if otherwise. At first sight, it may seem to be an attractive idea, but it doesn't bear much analysis. To begin with, people do different kinds of jobs featuring different labor intensity and so the time needed to refresh their physical condition varies. For example, blue collar workers may work longer hours before they get tired physically, while white collar workers such as doctors and teachers are more mentally stressed. Unable to work continuously as long as those physical labor workers, white collars need more time to pull through the mental weariness than physical tiredness. All in all, people in different jobs assume different responsibilities and have different degrees of pressure.Secondly, different tasks and duties are required for different professions, resulting in the variety of holiday periods for people in different walks of life. Some employees cannot have their legal holidays and even have to work overtime, such as policemen, construction workers and people in the service line. Those professions just can't be interrupted for a mornent;other wise the society will be in a mess. Even for some people in the same occupation, they cannot have the same holidays entitled to them due to many factors out of human control, such as special assignments, and health conditions etc, then not to say people in different fields.Suppose we, as teachers do, all have three months' holiday in a year. Then factories have to employ considerably more workers because some of them are enjoying happy holiday. That's obviously against the principles of doing business at lower cost and efficiency. If we have only three days off in a year, then all the people in our country will be working day after day. No one can squeeze time to visit those tourist resorts leisurely. It goes without saying that the tourist trade and catering industry thus cannot develop rapidly and healthily.

Of all the notable mountains in China,Mount Huangshan,to be found in the south of Anhui province,is probably the most famous.Originally known as Mt.Yishan it was renamed Mt.Huangshan in 747 AD in recognition of the legendary Huang Di,who was the reputed ancestor of the Chinese people and who made magic pills for immortality here.

Wu yue is the collective name given to China’s most important mountains, namely Mt.Taishan in Shandong Province,Mt.Huashan in Shaanxi Province,Mt.Hengshan in Shanxi Province,Mt.Songshan in Henan Province and Mt.Hengshan in Hunan Province. It is said that you won’t want to visit any other mountains after seeing wu yue but you won’t wish to see even wu yue after returning from Mt.Huangshan.This saying may give you some idea of the beauty and uniqueness of Mt.Huangshan.Together with the Yellow River, the Yangtze River and the Great Wall,Mt.Huangshan has become one of the great symbols of China.

Mt.Huangshan can boast not only of its magnificence but also its abundant resources and great variety of zoological species, for which it has been listed as a World Natural and Cultural Heritage Site

華山的英文介紹,或者其他什么山都行,小女子愿以所有積分傾囊相送......

The Hua Mountain

The steepest sacred mountain in central China, the Hua

mountain is located 120 kilometers (75 miles) east of the

city of Xi'an. Traditionally called the "West Mountain," it is

well known for steep trails, breath-taking cliffs, narrow

passages, and grand sceneries.

There are five peaks: the South peak, also called the

Goose-Landing Peak, is the highest at 2,160 meters; the

East peak is also called the Sunrise Peak; the West peak -

the Lotus Peak; the North peak - the Cloud Terrace Peak;

and the Middle peak - the Jade Maid Peak. The whole

mountain is a huge monolithic granite.

The trails through Hua mountain are particularly

challenging. There are more than 210 narrow pathways

planked over or chiseled in cliffs, the most famous being the

Sky Ladder, the Gray Dragon Peak, the Thousand Stairs, the

Clouds Ladder. The most adventurous scenic spots are the

Sparrow Hawk Flipping, and the Long Sky Pathway, which

are at the top of cliffs.

Historically, the Hua mountain has been close to the early

centers of Chinese civilization. Legendary kings of China

such as Huang Di, Yao, and Shun all paid visits to the Hua.

Dozens of emperors of the Qin, Han, Tang dynasties used to

hold sacred rituals here. For thousands of years, Buddhist

and Taoist monks and pilgrims have traveled here,

established monasteries, and practised alchemy in the Hua

mountain. Today there are more than 20 Taoist

monasteries, the most famous being the Jade Spring

Temple and the East Tao Temple.

A visit to the Hua mountain takes two days from Xian, and

is truly unique and worthwhile especially if you are capable

physically and adventurous spiritually. From the supreme

summit of Hua, you can see the Yellow River and the land

that is the cradle of early Chinese civilization. The view of 36

mystical pinnacles veiled in clouds, the spectacular sunset

and sunrise, nature's grandest scenery, and the challenge

that will humble any human being - all of those will make

your journey to Mount Hua a truly remarkable event.

on the mountain, there were neither showers nor sinks available for washing. In that sense the experience felt like camping, but we were sleeping in a big tent!

After dinner at the hotel restaurant, we spent some time talking with our guides. We were a bit surprised to find that they both think of Japan negatively, but like the U.S. It seems that Japan’s WWII behavior in China has not been forgotten, and is emphasized in school.

We saw a beautiful sunset and watched the sky become resplendent with thousands of stars, including the Milky Way galaxy. This was the clearest sky that we have seen in China. The fresh air at Hua Shan is a treat!

Our guides had both been planning to get up at 4:00 AM to watch the sunrise. Fran and I made sleep a priority. We did happen to wake up a bit before sunrise (our room faced east) and went outside to watch the sky become rosy. Ironically, our guides missed the sunrise because they had stayed up late watching the European soccer championships on the television in their room.
